By day, I'm a medical professional. And by also-day… I'm planning trips!

Trip planning is my love language. Give me a destination and I will happily spend hours researching the best places to stay, the experiences actually worth doing, where to eat, and the gear that will make the whole adventure a little easier.

I'm the planner. My husband is the navigator. And honestly, it's a pretty necessary division of labor. I handle the "what are we doing?" and he handles the "how exactly are we getting there?" — a pretty important role when international travel involves trains, buses, ferries, transfers, and approximately 44 different apps.

We're not strictly budget travelers, and we're not luxury travelers either. We're somewhere in between, usually looking for the "is this going to be an incredible experience?" factor. We love doing things that make a trip feel a little more memorable — paragliding in front of Mt. Fuji, dog sledding to a hot spring, going on safari, chasing snow and northern lights, or finding a tiny restaurant that ends up being one of our favorite parts of the trip.

And that's really where Travel + Trinkets Co. came from.

I'm obsessed with the little details that make a trip better — the places, experiences, meals, stays, and pieces of gear that you might not know to look for until someone tells you about them.

So think of me as the person who does the research before you have to.
